PLMF MEETING MINUTES

September 21, 2008

 

Meeting was called to order.  Present – President, Vice President, Secretary, Equipment Manager, Commissioner, Cheerleading Director, Parent Rep, Treasurer

 

The president gave the treasurer’s report –  

Payments – Refunds to parents - $767.50, Shirtz & More (jersey’s, coach’s shirts, cheer uniforms, etc.) - $7374.00, Stark Mini Storage - $990.00, Referees - $2890.00, Sam’s Club - $70.00, New checks - $43.79

Upcoming payments – Minuteman Press (program books) - $637.69, Shirtz & More (t-shirts) apx. - $500.00, Dumonts - $4550.00, Sam’s Club (concessions), Award Fundraising (candy bars and Zap-A-Snack) - $4200.00, PO Box - $38.00, GlenOak High School Cheerleaders - $500.00

Income – player/cheerleader registrations, sponsors

Upcoming league income – fundraising money, gates, concessions, etc.

Interest, Savings - $1.33

 

Championship Game currently scheduled for Sunday, October 19th

                        3 B-league games – top six teams; 4 A-league games – all teams

                        Approximate starting time – 10am

 

PLMF Night – GlenOak Varsity Football Game Friday – October 10th

                      Arrive at 6:45pm at the main gate only

                      Meet at the bleachers under the scoreboard

                      Players wear your jersey’s, cheerleaders must wear full uniform

                      Free admission for players and cheerleaders

                      Cheerleaders will be allowed to cheer with the cheerleaders for the first quarter only

 

We want to look into building our own storage unit at the GlenWood Stadium to store our equipment. 

 

Cheerleading Extravaganza – Sunday, November 2nd at GlenOak High School

 

Banquets –

                        One banquet for all Flag Teams.

                        Parents with children on flag and tackle will only pay for one banquet ticket.

                        Tentative dates for banquets:

                                    All Flag Teams – Tuesday, October 21st

                                    A-Gold, B-Gold, B-White – Tuesday, October 28th

                                    A-Green, B-Green, B-Gray – Thursday, October 30th

 

Equipment Hand-In – Saturday, October 25th 10-2pm
